Refund and Returns Policy

Welcome to Ghibli Merch Store’s Refund and Returns Policy. We are committed to providing you with an excellent shopping experience and full support for your orders. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you with a return within 30 days from the date of receipt.

1. Return Conditions

We accept returns if your item meets any of the following conditions:

  • The item has a manufacturer’s defect (e.g., faulty stitching, incorrect design, print errors).
  • The item is in the wrong size or color compared to what was ordered.
  • The item has been damaged or deformed due to shipping issues.

Additionally, customers may return products in the following cases:

  • Change of Mind: If you change your mind about the product, you can return it within 30 days, but you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
  • Wrong Size, Color, or Style Ordered: You can return it within 30 days, but return shipping fees will apply.
  • No Longer Want the Product: You can return the product within 30 days, as long as the product is unused, unopened, and you will cover the return shipping cost.

Note:

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility for non-defective items.
  • The product must be unused, unopened, and in original condition.

2. Return Process

  • Contact Customer Support:
    Begin by reaching out to our customer service team at support@ghibli-merch.com. In your email, please include the following:

    • Your order number.
    • A clear description of the reason for the return (e.g., manufacturer defect, incorrect size or color, damaged item).
    • Photographs of the item (if applicable), showing any defects or damage.
  • Return Review & Approval:
    Once we receive your return request, our team will carefully assess the details and determine if the item meets the eligibility criteria for a return. This review process typically takes 2-3 business days. If your return request is approved, we will issue you a Return Authorization and provide specific instructions on how to return the item.

3. Return Shipping Fees

  • Customer’s Responsibility:
    If the return is due to personal reasons, such as:

    • You’ve changed your mind about the product.
    • You ordered the wrong size, color, or style by mistake.
    • You no longer want the product.

    In these cases, the customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. These shipping fees are non-refundable, and the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.

  • Seller’s Responsibility:
    If the return is due to an error on our part or an issue with the product itself, we will cover the return shipping costs. This includes situations such as:

    • We sent you the wrong item (e.g., wrong size, color, or style).
    • The item you received is damaged or defective.
    • There was an error during shipping or fulfillment (e.g., wrong product sent, packaging issues, etc.).
    • The item was damaged during transit.

    In these cases, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse you for the return shipping costs, depending on the circumstances. 

4. Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, our team will carefully inspect it to determine if it meets the conditions for a refund. If your return is approved, we will process a refund to your original payment method—either via PayPal or your Visa card providerwithin 1 business day after the inspection is completed. Please note that, while we initiate refunds promptly, the time it takes for the amount to appear in your account may vary depending on PayPal or your Visa card issuer’s processing times.

5. Exchanges (Size/Color)

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges for size or color. If you wish to receive the product in a different size or color, you will need to place a new order.

6. Order Cancellation

If you change your mind about your order, please email us at support@ghibli-merch.com with your order number and the details of the modification you wish to make. We will confirm with you once the cancellation or change has been processed.

Note: Your order is eligible for cancellation or modification only within 2 hours after placing it. After this time, the order will be locked for processing and cannot be canceled.

At Christmas & New Year Season please make sure to choose the right shipping option.
